Your tasks – this is what awaits you in detail

• As a Platform Engineer (f/m/d) of our Platform teams, your goal is to deliver the best possible developer experience and guarantee a reliable and performant production environment
• You work closely with other Platform and Software Engineers to design & build a platform for our internal customers and maintain infrastructure
• From CI/CD to container orchestration on Kubernetes, from networking and databases: You have the chance towork on a wide range of strategic and high-impact topics
• You evaluate and work with various services within cloud platforms
• You develop and deploy cloud services via infrastructure-as-code and use GitOps practices where it makes sense
  
  

Your profile – this is what we expect from you

• You have experience in both software development (preferably GoLang) and infrastructure
• Your background is Software/DevOps/Platform Engineer, Architect or similar
• You bring sound experience with at least two of the following tools and technologies
  • Monitoring and alerting (preferably Datadog)
  • IaC (preferably Terraform)
  • CI/CD (preferably GitLab & Helm)
  • Cloud platforms (preferably GCP)
  • Containers and container orchestration (preferably Kubernetes & GKE)
• You are used to rotating on-call duties
• You understand the concept of a modern platform and strive to solve the problems of your customers
• You have profound experience with containers and container orchestration
• You prefer to solve problems in a continuous improvement way
• You possess analytical and troubleshooting skills, fluency in coding and high traffic / high availability system architecture and a desire to tackle complex problems
• You are a strong team player and enjoy collaborating with different people and profiles as well as share knowledge and strive for continuous development and learning
• You have excellent communication skills, are willing to embrace our company culture & values and enjoy working in an international, english-speaking team
