Partner Management

BUILDING GOOD PARTNERSHIPS

Our Partner Management team takes care of acquiring new partners and maintaining relationships with existing partners. Partners, in this case, include marketing collaborations, technology providers and agencies. What’s more, the partner managers also acquire new sellers and teach them how to use our systems within Kaufland Global Marketplace.

The goals you will pursue with your team

Partner Management is always working strategically towards the following goals:

  • Helping sellers automate and speed up their workflows with the help of a comprehensive partner network
  • Continuing to strengthen the partner network using research, evaluation and acquisition of new partners as well as intensively keeping up existing relationships
  • Regularly publishing B2B communications in partner media as well as on our own channels

The sub-teams in Partner Management

The team is divided into three sub-teams:

This sub-team is tasked with the management of relationships with new and existing partners in the areas of e-commerce service providers and agencies. The specific tasks include researching and evaluating relevant partners in order to find the best options for us.

As a sub-team, Integration Management find the right software providers for our needs, take on their onboarding and support them as they continue to work with us.

Information is key for this sub-team, as they are responsible for increasing media attention for the marketplaces both internally and externally, supplying information about developments and supporting sellers so they can operate successfully on the marketplaces.

Here’s what the daily work looks like in the Partner Management team

Working in Partner Management looks different every day. As a member of the team, you’ll have lots of different tasks from one day to the next. Some of these include:

How the team keeps in touch

As a member of the Partner Management team, you’ll be communicating with your colleagues all the time. The team focuses on keeping in touch, supporting each other, and being aware of the current to-dos. This optimises processes and helps the team’s further development. To do so, the team uses the following formats:

  • Dailies: Every morning, the team holds a 15-minute chat for quick updates, questions and pending tasks; on Fridays, the meeting takes half an hour and offers the opportunity to discuss highs and lows of the past week.
  • Weekly one-on-one meetings: Each team member has a monthly meeting with the team lead.
  • Other meetings: Within the sub-teams or between teams, there are various weekly, bi-weekly and monthly meetings scheduled.
  • Messaging tools: Apart from the meetings, the team also keeps in touch via chat.
