Security Engineers at Kaufland e-commerce are responsible for cybersecurity. They ensure that our IT systems are protected from attacks and threats, making them essential to our business as a digital service provider. Their responsibilities include vulnerability management, security monitoring, and securing the software lifecycle. They also advise colleagues on IT security matters. 

  

In their day-to-day work, our Security Engineers focus on developing and improving security measures to defend against cyber threats. They are involved in various projects and initiatives across departments to ensure security considerations are integrated early in the product development process. They propose new protection technologies, assess their implementation, and review the security requirements of concepts. Additionally, they develop robust security architectures and continually enhance existing safeguards. To achieve this, they utilize and develop various security technologies to ensure product security.
