Marketplace Management

In our marketplace management, we handle some of the most important work behind the scenes: We make sure that new products are added to our international online marketplace, forge important new contacts and foster existing partnerships – because in e-commerce, nothing works without the right relationships.

We not only acquire new sellers through our well-developed network and a range of industry events, but also work closely together with thousands of our existing online retailers and help them optimise their offerings. In this way, we contribute to the constant growth of the product portfolio and an excellent shopping experience for our customers.
We also offer our sellers a range of marketplace services to make it even easier to sell through our platform and to help them increase their turnover. Additionally, we maintain our relationships with numerous partners who, for example, provide the necessary software interfaces and make it possible for sellers to connect with our online marketplace.

And not only that – we’re also enthusiastic event managers who do everything to us even more well-known. We represent our brand as an exhibitor at numerous e-commerce events and organise our own annual trade show, the e-Commerce Day, against the impressive backdrop of Cologne’s RheinEnergieSTADION.

To make sure that we can efficiently handle our diverse range of tasks, our department is divided into several teams that each cover a special topic:

  • Sales Team: We acquire new sellers who sell their products on our online marketplace.
  • Seller Support: We help sellers with account issues and support them in optimising their offerings.
  • Marketplace Services: We work to constantly develop new services for our sellers to support them with selling on our online marketplace.
  • Partner Management: We support our business partners – such as software interface providers – and negotiate agreements and terms with them.
  • Event Management: We plan trade show visits and appearances for our brand and also organise “e-Commerce Day”, our annual trade congress.

Of course, we also work closely together with all interfaces in our organisation to share our expertise with each other and achieve the best possible result. Thanks to our broad range of tasks, things are never boring in our team and no two days are the same!
