Your tasks – this is what awaits you in detail
- You will be a member of one of our Platform teams. Your goal is to deliver the best possible developer experience to internal developers and guarantee reliable and performant production and development environments.
- You will orchestrate and design clusters using technologies like RabbitMQ, MySQL, MongoDB and Redis.
- You develop and deploy cloud services via infrastructure-as-code.
- Example tasks you could work on:
Improving developer experience through test data import/generation for testing environments.
Implementing self-service for development teams to provision new databases/cache/message-brokers clusters for their microservices.
Operational support to development teams (or automation implementation) for heavy migration scripts, optimization of queries, queue consumers, etc.
Your profile – this is what we expect from you
You have experience with software development in one or more modern programming languages.
You have profound experience in using database solutions as a Software Engineer, and now you want to use this knowledge to provide scalable solutions for product teams in the context of a platform team.
You have extensive experience with IaC, preferably with Terraform and/or Ansible.
Nice to haves:
Monitoring and alerting (preferably Datadog)
CI/CD (preferably GitLab & Helm)
Cloud platforms (preferably GCP)
You are willing to participate on-call duties for additional compensation.
You have excellent communication skills, are willing to embrace our company culture and values and enjoy working in an international, english-speaking team.
