The Marketplace Management team handles some of the most crucial tasks behind the scenes of Kaufland’s international online marketplaces. They ensure that new offers are listed, build connections, and maintain existing partnerships—because in e-commerce, the right relationships are everything.
Not only do they acquire new sellers through their extensive network and by attending numerous industry events, but they also work closely with our thousands of existing sellers. They help optimize their listings, contributing to the continuous expansion of our product portfolio and creating an even better shopping experience for our customers.
Additionally, Marketplace Management offers a variety of Marketplace Services to our sellers, making it easier to sell on our platform and helping to boost sales. The team also nurtures relationships with numerous partners who provide essential software interfaces, enabling seamless integration of sellers into our marketplaces.
Seller Support: We assist our sellers with account issues and support them in optimizing their listings. The goal of the Seller Support team is to provide competent and fast assistance on equal footing and to find fair solutions together while adhering to our marketplace guidelines.
Partner Management & B2B Marketing: We acquire and manage partnerships—such as software interface providers—and focus on optimizations and joint marketing activities. With the help of our interface partners, we enable our sellers to quickly sell their products on our marketplaces and achieve optimal online visibility.
Sales Team: We acquire new sellers on both national and international levels. The team is divided into a national sales team, several international sales teams, and a sales development team.
Key Account Management: We work very closely with our existing sellers, focusing on supporting particularly large sellers. The priority is to ensure their products can be listed as smoothly as possible on our international marketplaces and achieve the best possible sales results.
Marketplace Development: This team focuses on collaborating with other teams to develop new services for our customers and sellers. They also establish new processes to drive the international growth of our marketplaces.
Marketplace Controlling: This team keeps a constant eye on numbers and data, preparing them in the form of reports and dashboards for our teams. They monitor various areas of our international marketplaces, collecting data such as seller performance, which they then analyze.
